My granddaughter also told us that we need to get a bed for her to put in her room at our house. She really doesn't like sleeping on the floor.
(Since all of our adult children have moved out and taken all the bedroom furniture with them, we have no beds in any bedrooms right now.)

No, we will be prepared with appropriate sleeping arrangements. A camping cot and pad are OK, right? ;^)
Air beds are cheap and pretty comfortable. Or you can drive up and stay with us, Al. We have beds.
A dog AND a bed? Now she's just getting greedy.
Al and mom2nine - Just to clarify...we have several air beds and other appropriate sleeping arrangements for Al when he visits. We just don't have a bed in the room that my granddaughter has claimed as her room at grandma's house.
Sue - no, she's not greedy, just hopeful.
Remember how much the little girls loved our mother's yellow "princess bedroom" in the Orem house? Maybe you need a room dedicated to all your granddaughters. And then, of course, you would need a room for all the boys.
